Why is everything so expensive now?

Because there aren't any. We had that pricing discussion about a month back, due to increased costs and tariffs, and we decided to keep things steady for now and try to increase efficiencies elsewhere. Then hopefully by the time we need to order more of a bunch of things, the Supreme Court will have ruled the tariffs unconstitutional, and we can just keep on like normal. That's the hope anyway. I figured people would appreciate that, but I guess we just get blamed for raising prices when we haven't. Facts don't matter anymore.

I will say there absolutely has been suppliers trying to profiteer off this. Some have doubled prices already, even though I know their stock is already in the US, or comes from somewhere else like India. We've told those suppliers to go fuck themselves, and shifted to other sources that aren't being pieces of shit. I'm not saying prices won't be affected if this shit goes on long, as they obviously will. However, the bulk of the supply shock has yet to fully hit.
