She is 55 and has arthritis (her wrists and knees got the most damage” and she always complains about stress and she is clearly chronically stressed. She is a care aide worker and does a lot of house work so she is always using her body, I think her high cortisol allowed her to keep pushing through fatigue causing her body to break down overtime. Is tongkat safe for older women? Do you think this will boost her mood as well? She takes medication for arthritis also

Out of curiosity, why are you considering Tongkat for her? That's not one someone usually suggests for a middle aged woman. It will lower estrogen, which is less than ideal for women at your mother's age. That could exacerbate bone weakening. Tongkat is also not one people use for arthritis. It does lower cortisol, but there are other better things that do that without the ancillary effects of Tongkat. If you wanted to stick to related things, Epimedium would be a good one. That lowers cortisol, helps protect from bone loss, improves mood, and can lower inflammation. Icariin is the primary active for that, so our 50% icariin would be the one I would use. I would also say our PanaMAX would be good. The ginsenosides will act similarly to icariin. Both have positive estrogen effects. As women age, it's more crucial to keep estrogen levels from falling too much.
