Can't have ND vit d :(

I didn't check the ingredients when I ordered it, but I'm noticing the mk4 k2/d3 has both sucrose and maltodextrin.
Though it would probably be fine if I took it acutely, I can't deal with even the slight risk of sucrose and maltodextrin causing unfavorable shifts in gut microbota if taken daily, long-term. Also, maltodextrin can feed Candida and I can't risk that given long-term antibiotics I'm on.
It sucks because I am willing to consume these ingredients sparsely, but not daily. Also, my lyme doc wants me on vit d as part of my treatment, as it does need to come up a bit. Also, I was looking forward to a vit d supplement I knew I could trust. They even have vit c in it to prevent oxidation of ingredients :/
I understand this isn't a big deal for the majority of people (as it probably doesn't need to be a concern for people lacking similar risk factors to me, but I'm not a doctor, do your own research), and I hope people who don't share the same concerns as me enjoy the product, but it's significant to me.
I'm a huge fan and long time customer of ND, I just can't have this one.
Oh well. Back to the NOW brand.

Hell to the yeah we're more loyal due to that honestly. Now I feel kinda bad about the post if all solid vit d comes accompanied by that stuff by any vendor. By that reasoning NOW vit d/k2 will have these as well.
At least posterity will see the above comment of yours.

It's okay. It gives me the chance to explain things to people. What we do is very different than everyone else in the industry. We look under all the rocks to ensure we know everything about the ingredients we are using. The issue with looking under rocks is that you have to do something with the information you find. 99% of other brands prefer to just not look under the rocks. Most ingredient suppliers are content sending you spec sheets and COAs that leave off the minor ingredients, because that is what most brands want. They want plausible deniability to say they didn't know those other things were in there, and that's why they didn't have them on the label. We force all our suppliers to tell us everything. I would by lying if I didn't consider not doing that. It's a pain in the ass when you look for more variables that make your life harder. However, it's what I want in supplements that I put in my body, so that's what we do.
