Can't have ND vit d :(

I didn't check the ingredients when I ordered it, but I'm noticing the mk4 k2/d3 has both sucrose and maltodextrin.
Though it would probably be fine if I took it acutely, I can't deal with even the slight risk of sucrose and maltodextrin causing unfavorable shifts in gut microbota if taken daily, long-term. Also, maltodextrin can feed Candida and I can't risk that given long-term antibiotics I'm on.
It sucks because I am willing to consume these ingredients sparsely, but not daily. Also, my lyme doc wants me on vit d as part of my treatment, as it does need to come up a bit. Also, I was looking forward to a vit d supplement I knew I could trust. They even have vit c in it to prevent oxidation of ingredients :/
I understand this isn't a big deal for the majority of people (as it probably doesn't need to be a concern for people lacking similar risk factors to me, but I'm not a doctor, do your own research), and I hope people who don't share the same concerns as me enjoy the product, but it's significant to me.
I'm a huge fan and long time customer of ND, I just can't have this one.
Oh well. Back to the NOW brand.

We really get a lot of shit because we list absolutely everything on our labels. We require all our supplier send us flowcharts for the production, and allergen and ingredient statements, so we know exactly how it was made, and what else might be in there. Even for patented ingredients we make them tell us how they make it, and what else is in there. This leads to consumers freaking out thinking we are putting all this other shit in there, but the fact of the matter it is in every single product with that ingredient in it. Other brands just lie and leave it off the label. We list it all. It sucks for us, because we lose sales. However, it's the right thing to do, and at least the consumers we do reach are more loyal to us because of that honesty.
