Yes, this is how many potent extracts react if the product is hygroscopic. Most people want us to keep the products as pure as possible, and leave out carriers or stabilizers if we can. So we have to trade off low additives for it clumping with moisture. This is also an indication that most 10:1 extracts on the market from other brands are just lies. It depends on the thing you are extracting, but doing a real concentrated 10:1 extract usually results in the powder being hygroscopic for many plants/fungi. It's why I laugh when I see brands saying 50:1 lion's mane. Sure, Jan... There is a reason our lion's mane is an 8:1. We tried a 10:1, and it just was not stable enough. 8:1 is the limit for a dual extract of the fruiting bodies of lion's mane. 10:1 is the limit for a dual extract of cordyceps fruiting bodies. If you see higher than that claimed by someone, and the powder isn't a hard rock, you know it is a lie. It's getting very bad right now, because brands are starting to list the doses as "equivalent to" numbers, rather than real numbers. It's total fraud, though. I can just say something is a 100:1 extract, and then mislabel it as 100X higher in dose. Many brands are doing that right now with Tongkat Ali. 100:1 and 200:1 extracts are a LIE. They don't exist, unless you are going to an insane level to isolate one specific compound in a plant. Even then, it just doesn't really exist. For a fungi like cordyceps that is hygroscopic, 10:1 is pushing the limits. We could stabilize it by cutting it 50/50 with a stabilizer, but most of our customers would prefer we keep it as pure as possible.

I guess we should be. Truth be told, marketing has always been our weakest link. I honestly hate the retail side of this industry. All the bad actors and lies. All the shady tactics and entrenched players. The fact that

Replying to cricket2tay23 · Ok Ima try it. I’m nervous about the lions mane messing with my libido. Does the other one you recommended help that? Or should I combine cordyceps with it all?

If libido is what you are concerned about, our tongkat ali or new horny goat weed would be the ones to add in.
