My package has been in customs a while. It’s literally bacopa and apigenin (congance). I know that this is not Nootropics depot’a fault at all but I don’t understand why this is flagged. It’s Canadian customs btw. It’s literally just these two I would not order something banned in Canada

from your experience, which shipping service is better overall for us canadians? Fedex or DHL ? = in terms of possibly not getting dinged with duties/taxes, or paying a lower fee at the door or not having any headaches with them asking for specific ingredients list and all sorts of stuff. -- also, is the 90 day supply thing an issue with DHL and/or fedex when shipping to canada ?

Both FedEx and DHL will get assessed duties, as they are private clearances. Well not duties, as we have the USMCA now. Supplements from the US are duty free. However, what is assessed in Canada is HST/VST/PST, depending on your province. People call that duties, but it is not. It's just taxes, which will get assessed each time with private clearance. The only one that is luck of the draw is standard mail, as that goes through public clearance. However, the past few months has seen a large uptick in public clearance packages getting assessed taxes. Both Canada and the EU are being more strict now. I think the days of no duties/taxes are over, to be honest. Ever since South Dakota v. Wayfair, and US states forcing companies to collect tax and remit to the states, other countries have been seeing that result and trying to pass their own laws to get their tax revenue from foreign sales.
The 90 day supply thing is a Canadian law. I am not sure how strictly it is enforced, though. I have seen it be an issue in the past, but I don't hear about it often. I will have to ask my customer support team to really know for sure.
