Been a year or so since I last ordered from ND and these days it feels like everything is taking longer than usual to arrive, so was just wondering what kind of delivery times people have experienced
What they were answering

Oh man... this sounds truly horrendous.
It would be pretty bad to pay high import-fees, but I could somehow manage that.
But if I downright won't be able to order certain products from ND anymore, I'm pretty f***ed.
In the past it was at least possible to use parcel forwarding via the Netherlands or France, but if the whole
EU actually takes a hard stance like that - I guess that will become impossible, too.
One can only hope it doesn't turn out quite that bad.
Thanks for the heads-up of course - but this seems like a very dire situation for customers in the EU, goddamn.

I don't think it will adversely affect clearances. If anything, going DDP will make more things clear, because that is one less thing to trigger them stopping the package. If duties are already paid, and HTS codes are on every manifest for each item, they will be more likely to just let packages through without issue. We are being told that right now more of our shipments are being stopped because they are DDU. They stop to assess duties, then dig further into the items themselves. If things are already prepaid for duties, then it should just sail on through most of the time.
