Is ND's maca good or is there better? I keep reading about gelanitized maca, black maca etc. Which is the one to go for for mood and confidence? Testosterone and libido boosts would be welcomed secondary goals.

You got any opinion on macas effects on hormones? i havent tried your extract yet, but have only tried the normal powder, like gaias powder. Also, any input on maoi aspects of maca, in regards to decreasing the break down of catecholamines as most maois do?
The problem i run into, is if used regularly, it totally makes me super emotional and i think increases my estrogen like the studies they did on menapausal women did, im a 37 year old man btw.
so basically im a 37 year old man with a period. my maca period.
i took some the other night, i mix the powder with raw cacao powder and cream and make a oatmeal kinda thing cause i read thats what people in peru do, but also to enhance the anadamides from the minute amount of anadamide in cacao due to inhibiting effects etc, that shit works for me btw. maca + chocolate = weed.
But what happens though is i get all emotional and will like cry about youtube videos about scraggly stray cats that get adopted and get a forever home and end up bing watching sappy youtube videos and being all emotional. this is not the effect i need or am looking for.
Now the initial libido and energizing effects have worn off after the first few times using it. The real main reason i take maca along with cannabinoid effects is that the dopamine and norepinephrine increasing effects absolutely work when combined with normal mr.happy stack stuff, lik…

Maca increases sperm quality, but that study found it didn't meaningfully change hormone levels. That's interesting the effects you are getting, though! Anandamide is implicated in emotions. It doesn't have to be from estrogen.
