Why not selling a specific product (capsule/tablet) without any other ingredients in it?

This is a curiosity question,
Lets take Tongkat Ali for example, 100mg/capsule =10% Tongkat Ali + all other ingredients so my question is why not selling 10mg/capsule of 100% Tongkat Ali without the other ingredients, same for Ecdysterone, why not selling a 250mg/tablet of 100% Ecdysterone instead of 500mg at 50%?
Does that make sense?
Thank you.

I really would like to get an answer on the statement made below from MisterYouAreSoDumb or any body working at ND who can help on giving an answer, I think this would be very important for all of to understand what you meant exactly in your statement.
"What do you mean by "sometimes you want the other things", why would we want them sometimes and not other times, and what are the "other things", are the "other things" phytosteroles, if the answer is yes will they enhance the effect of pure Ecdysterone if taken together, if that is the case which ones are they and how do they interact with pure Ecdysterone?
"Also, sometimes you want the other things in the plant."
Thank you,

There are a lot of things in plants. They are not simple. If you are synthesizing something pure, you get just that thing. When it is biosynthesized in plants, you have hundreds of other things also present in the plant. Sometimes those things are good, and they add to the experience. Other times certain things are bad, and you want to remove them. Other times things are neutral, so removing them is not crucial, but they won't add benefits. Plants also have a lot of cellulose, as that is what makes up their cell walls. Often times extracts have cellulose plant material left over in them. You can spend the money to remove it all, but then the cost per dose goes up a lot, so often times it is more efficient to do a lower standardized extract and just take a higher dose. Then you also have issues where you can't go higher than a certain extract ratio with some botanicals, as the powder gets unusable because of clumping past that. Lion's mane is a perfect example of that. You can't go higher than an 8:1 with the fruiting bodies of lion's mane, or the powder becomes hard as a rock. You can do higher extracts, but then you have to mix them with excipients to keep the powder stable. Botanical extracts are actually much more complex than most people realize. Pure synthesized chemical compounds are easy by comparison.
Regarding your ecdysterone questions specifically: yes, there are other ecdysteroids in there. Yes, they will likely have an effect. No, we can't really say for sure how they will interact, because the data on it is not totally fleshed out yet.
