Why not selling a specific product (capsule/tablet) without any other ingredients in it?

This is a curiosity question,

Lets take Tongkat Ali for example, 100mg/capsule =10% Tongkat Ali + all other ingredients so my question is why not selling 10mg/capsule of 100% Tongkat Ali without the other ingredients, same for Ecdysterone, why not selling a 250mg/tablet of 100% Ecdysterone instead of 500mg at 50%?

Does that make sense?

You severely misunderstand what the percentages mean. It is 10% of the active ingredient, 100% tongkat ali

It's not 10% active. There are many active things in it. It's just a standardization for the main active compound.
