Any other benefits of taking Beta Ecdysterone besides the physical effects?

u/misteryouaresodumb, I’m curious to hear your highly valued opinion on this.
Also, side question- Can or does Beta Ecdysterone still benefit your muscle growth or faster muscle healing even if you aren’t currently working out? Is there still a good reason to take it even if you’re not currently working out at all due to injury and being unable to?

Honestly, beta-ecdysterone's most interesting effects are not muscle related, in my opinion. I think the fact that it is hitting the Mas receptor/angiotensin system is.
Role of Renin-Angiotensin System in Inflammation, Immunity and Aging
The role of angiotensin-\(1–7\) receptor Mas in spermatogenesis in mice and rats
So we might be missing the forest for the trees here with focusing solely on muscle growth. Activation of the Mas receptor by beta-ecdyterone has a bunch of interesting beneficial effects on many organ systems of the body. Just like reducing Cistanche simply to its testosterone effects belittles how interesting of a plant it is, so does reducing beta-ecdysterone's effects to solely muscle mass modulation. Both plants are much more interesting than they look on the surface.
