Published literature states a safe intake level of 338mg EGCG with hepatixicity risk in higher doses. Just wondering why ND chose to put 500mg EGCG in their capsules?

This may be nit picky, but I will say after taking the green tea extract tablets for a week or so, those suckers are hard to swallow. The tablets seem like an odd shape for a pill. Am I doing it wrong? Are they meant to be dissolved in water or something?

No, they are enteric coated. They are meant to be swallowed whole, where the coating will protect it from stomach acids, then they will dissolve in the small intestine.
