Do you lose muscle when you eat enough protein but don’t work out?

Let’s say someone has an injury that prevents them from exercising. Does eating enough protein prevent muscle loss or does it just slow it down?

Wouldn't LCLT be better for muscle than ALCAR?

L-Carnitine L-tartrate? I've never personally used that one. ALCAR has good data, though.

Seems like ALCAR would be good to prevent muscle loss in someone that is not active. Perhaps LCLT would be better for someone that is currently working out, though.
