I want to learn how to be more in tune with myself. People in this sub say stuff that blows my mind, like how is everyone noticing these subtle changes?

Mindfulness? Maybe, maybe not. Don't forget innate sensitivity, for some.
I've always been like this--I can notice effects from any given compound at relatively low levels, even things that don't have pronounced psychoactive qualities, I can usually notice some effect.
However it may be due to being on the spectrum. There is a theory about folks who have this type of neurology, to put it simply, they are just "too sensitive." What it does, though, is it affects every aspect of life. A sideways glance from some random person as I walk the streets... and I'm thinking, "do I look strange? have I done something wrong?" and I don't forget that for months, if ever.
And forget it, when it comes to things like online dating or the entire "dating game" this stuff is just merciless, far too often. It tears my psyche apart, to even participate at all. This is what "sensitivity in all things" will get you. A life of nothingness.
Doesn't matter if I have some acute ability in the way I can notice things, get a buzz at small amounts of compounds, some other odd perks and so on... this type of thing damages a life thoroughly. Just think any desire or goal you ever had, you probably can't have it. That sums it up, man.
Ain't no one should ever be in these shoes.

Sure, some people are just more sensitive. Some are more in tune with their bodies. However, for the average person, mindfulness is key to consciously recognizing when they are being affected. They have to be mindful of how they feel in all situations to be able to tell when their state has changed because of something they took.
