Lion’s Mane 8:1 vs 1:1

Hey! Over the last year I have been taking 1:1 and have noticed a significant increase in verbal fluidity. I recently changed to 8:1 extract, and it seems over the last month my verbal fluidity has decreased. I won’t be re-supplying for a little while so I cannot test 1:1 again, but does anyone know if this response is possible between these two extracts, or would something else be at play here?

It's really hard to say without more data. I will say that the vast majority of people prefer the 8:1 lion's mane. However, there are some people that prefer the 1:1. It just depends. That goes for the reishi and cordyceps as well. I prefer the ratioed ethanol extracts, but some people just like the 1:1 versions better. I actually like our LucidiSPORE the best for reishi, and that's massively different than the others. The thing with bran chemistry is that it varies a lot. Many people don't realize just how much, so they assume everyone reacts similarly to everything. That's just not reality. We are all each unique individuals, and what works best for me might do nothing for another, or even be counter-productive. This can be frustrating for people new to supplements/nootropics, but that's just part of the process. Everyone should go into this with the understanding that it will take time to find the right things/combinations of things that will work best for their own unique body/brain chemistry. Use people's anecdotes as one data point, but know that you will react in your own unique way to everything.
