Quercetin, Zinc, and Copper

I've been taking zinc daily for years now, and quercetin for the past few weeks as it measurably improves my HRV, and subjectively improves my breathing. However, I've seen speculation - and also a small handful of anecdotes - that quercetin and zinc can impair tendon healing, as quercetin is a zinc ionophore, which can cause copper depletion.
Is there any truth to this? Should a person taking quercetin + zinc also supplement with copper, or do we likely get enough through diet anyway?
As someone that rock climbs regularly, tendon strains and injuries are a fact of life.

That depends on your diet. Many people will likely get enough copper from the diet. However, many people have shitty diets, too. So it really depends on what you are eating.
