NMN Powder

Any plans from the team in producing a NMN powder?
I put many of my clients on various anti-aging protocols which usually includes NMN but I’d prefer giving them a powder as we need to hit around 1-2g daily based on the recent scientific evidence for doubling NAD+ levels.
I use your brand for every single of my clients/patients so I’d love if I could find everything I need for them with you guys obviously.
I’d also be curious to hear if you guys are planning to produce a resveratrol powder or capsules?
Keep up the great work! Huge respect and gratitude.

Wonderful. Thank you for the great news! Are you looking into Resveratrol as well?
I've looked at bioavailability data for NMN and NR, I am not finding much good information, as it seems it's still all very new. I need to do more research on this area to really understand how the different formulations are absorbed and the related pharmacokinetics.

You can see from that study that NMN has its own transporter located in the small intestine. This transporter, called Slc12a8, is a nicotinamide mononucleotide specific transporter. This means that protecting it from stomach acid with an enteric coating, and delivering it to the neutral pH environment of the small intestine intact, is a good strategy to improve bioavailability. After doing beta testing, we found that 125mg in an enteric coated formula felt like a much larger dose of non-enteric capsules or powder. That's not a controlled study, though. So it is hard for me to tell you exactly what % increase in bioavailability that gives. Also, there are other factors that could come into play. There is a recent study showing that your microbiome can affect NMN uptake, too.

Since the science has not been settled yet, there is evidence that non-enteric NMN still does work, and the cost and headache of making the enteric coating is so high, we deiced to expand our offering to normal powder and capsules, too. Might as well give everyone the option to try varying forms and see what they react best to personally.
Regarding resveratrol, yes. We have been looking into it. The issue was cost for us. We could not get the costs down to be competitive on price. Not sure how other brands are doing it, but our raw material costs were making it so that we would have to be much more expensive than other brands. That being said, we did not test those other brands. Who knows how legit they are. Maybe there is mass under-dosing or something. We can revisit it. Maybe costs have come down. I would doubt it in the current environment, but I will check.
