Yeah I can't stand marketing like that. Idk how else they could do it but I immediately feel like I'm getting played when I read ads that look like that

Have you seen the movie? All the statements in the video and on the pages are plays on quotes from Jingle All The Way. At the start of the movie, Arnold Schwarzenegger tells everyone over the phone: "Don't forget, you're my number one customer!" Then he accidentally says it to his wife when he ends a call with her. It's a hollow platitude that is common in our soulless modern corporatism. That's part of the joke! Our abandoned cart emails on Black Friday are going to tell everyone they are our number one customer! The whole thing is a campy joke based off a silly Christmas movie that is playing on the ridiculousness of things like Black Friday... while also participating in it. LOL, at least I find it funny. I watched the movie again a few nights ago in preparation for this whole thing. The guy in the video I linked above plays an elf that is a con man in the movie!
