I found it. It was actually Kristen, not Dawn. I think she just misunderstood your first email and gave the generic response about not returning opened product. I have tried to work with my team to better read the whole email and understand it before responding, but it's always a moving target. They are getting better, but it can be a challenge to get them to slow down and make sure they really understand what a customer is saying; especially when they have hundreds of emails to get through. I'll bring it up with my customer support manager. Her initial response clearly missed the point of what you were saying. I apologize for that.
