Best ND product for Reading / Information Retention / Working Memory / Long Term Cognition

I'm curious if anyone has found a supplement that has reliably and consistently improved one's ability to read, digest, and retain information in the long term. I know things like phenylpiracetam have great acute effects, but I'm looking for something that will enhance my ability to remember what I read over time.

I've made it a goal to read at least an hour of David Hawkins (or similar psych / spiritual / consciousness material), but I'm struggling to retain as much as I would like--I assume this is related to working memory.
EDIT: To clarity, I don’t have issues with mood/focus/energy, just memory and retaining information.

u/misteryouaresodumb do you have an suggestions? I am going to try taking Lion’s Mane every day for the next 6 months and see if my reading abilities are substantially affected.

Lion's mane is a good one. Maitake is another one many people overlook that has good cognitive effects. It has compounds in it that bind to AMPA receptors. 7,8-Dihydroxyflavone would be another one you might consider adding in.
