Bacopa Monnieri potency testing varies in quality. The wiki should probably guide users to dose depending on each product's test methodology.

How UV-VIS ever was the standard for assay of actives in botanicals is beyond me.
Right?
And then on top of this are the manufacturers not using the correct reference standards even though they are using HPLC for their assays - as we discovered. I would wager a significant amount of companies are entirely unaware of these differences.

Ohh yeah, you get people using Chinese or Indian pharmacopoeia standards, which are different than USP. On top of that, you get people using old/degraded standards, which inflate the assay results. Very few people are aware of these things. They just assume total bacopasides means the same thing to everyone. Hell, look at ashwagandha. USP looks at 8 withanolides, and only uses 2 of them to create calibration curves. There are over 40 withanolides in ashwagandha, though. One person says 5% withanolides, but that means something totally different to them than another person saying 5% withanolides. They both might not technically be wrong, based on their STAG and monograph. However, consumers assume it means the total of all things known as withanolides, which is does not.
