Trouble wrestling with NAC

Original post in this thread

-Moonshield- · 3 points

I started taking NAC, after I read that it reduces biofilm - hoping to get some improvements with my bowel functions.

I wasn't expecting to get much out of this but I ended up getting more than I bargained for.

It reduced anxiety and inner chatter which was great but I then felt completely unmotivated to go to the gym and lower food intake which I always do. I went on a beautiful hike that I usually love to do and it was very meh and not the same as it used to be.

I almost feel groggy and for sure dull. Anyone out there get this from NAC?

On the plus side it made most of my reflux go away, and I have some of the worst reflux. I stopped taking my medicine which is called dexilant - the most powerful PPI and I let myself drink 2 nights in a row with very little consequences as far as reflux (\unbelievable\) I know it gives a lot of people reflux but this is weird .... and strong.

Thanks for your reply sir. I still feel relaxed and calm and I havent taken it in 2 or 3 days.

This stuff is unreal. Drank coffee this morning and no reflux. Again unreal.

Just have to find a way to boost motivation, and reduce adhedonia - seems like NAC almost needs a stimulant?

Edit: Also tried Agmatine and it made me nauseous... funky

For some people it does. Anhedonia is usually dopamine related. Our new Sabroxy might help. Or you can target AMPK. Berberine, CoQSol-CF, NMN, and quercetin would do that.

Who's buying what tomorrow?

Replying to drop0dead · This is the second year this has happened while I'm out of work, makes me want to cry. If I had any cash I'd get centrophenoxine, agmatine, skull cap, kava, nmn, nr, and ginger.

PM me when you are back working. I will get you taken care of.

What does /u MisterYouAreSoDumb take?

I am always trying new things that we are working on. So at any one point in time my stack will be different. However, I do have some staples in my base stack that stay there pretty consistently. * CoQSol-CF * Reacta-C

I've been taking enteric NMN, NR, and quercetin individually in the morning for a while. I would take apigenin at night. When I switched over to OptiNAD+, there was a clear increase in energy. I think the NADH really is
