Found it here https://mindnutrition.com/nootropics/affron-saffron-extract-capsules
It looks like a really interesting extract, with clinical backing. People often times post about a saffron extract here, and this one is cheap. Thoughts?

Don't get me wrong. They might still be fake. However, just because they didn't work doesn't mean they are fake. Also, it might be that they contain a lot of the petals from the saffron, which is bad for cooking. However, that might not be so bad for supplementation purposes. In fact, crocetin has affinities to the PCP binding site of the NMDA receptor. This is likely why I feel it similar to DXM.

The appetite diminishing effects might be from the serotonin affinities from the safranal. This could be why you didn't feel those effects. The extract you used might have more crocin and crocetin, but not much safranal.
Have you tried our yeast extract for hunger? I always fast most of the day, so I rarely get hungry. However, I also take our yeast extract every morning. After seeing some data that specific strain of yeast has anti-hunger effects, I decided to skip a few days. Sure enough, I do notice less hunger when I take the yeast extract in the morning, so it does seem to be having an effect.
