Refrigerate NMN?

NMN is, according to Dr. David Sinclair, very unstable and should be kept cold:

However ND uses an enteric coating.
u/misteryouaresodumb have you tried leaving out some coated NMN at room temperature for a few months then tested how much NMN is left in the tablet?
Does anyone know how much of an impact the enteric coating would have on loss of NMN due to heat?

It's mostly the powdered raw material you need to keep cold. We are also investigating how the synthesis methods affect its stability. It could be a function of the crystal structure and how much water is trapped in the crystals. However, we have assayed the tablets after sitting and they are perfectly stable. No need to store them in the fridge. It's not going to hurt anything, but isn't necessary.
