I find amazon prime to be much useful to me. Since I get faster shipping speeds and I can also compare prices from different sellers like NOW, SWANSON, DOUBLE WOODS, SOLARAY, LIFE EXTENSION, GARDEN OF LIFE, SEEKING HEALTH, NUTRICOST, NATURES WAY, DOCTORS BEST, AND OF COURSE NOOTROPICS DEPOT.
And it's I'm okay with nobody else carrying it, it tells me you guys have quality control because it's not overproduced. I buy certain stuff sometimes from you guys on amazon when I cant find it from other sellers, like polygala tenuifolia, sulbutiamine(this one is directly from nootropicsdepot so i guess i have ordered directly), magnolia bark, gs15-4, etc.
I really like the fact that you guys carry many of the patented ingredients, and when in doubt i can always order something not patented, from you guys,(amazon prime) and expect good quality manufacturing.
Question does it hurt the company when I order through Amazon prime? Because I could order the same things i get from you guys, but use the website instead. I just thought you guys got a similar sales profit, minus the taxes and fees if there's any that I'm not aware of.

Buying from our main site is always better for us, since we don't have to pay Amazon's fees. We have to pay them a 15% commission, plus around $5 pick, pack, and ship fees per item. So that gets expensive for us. If you buy from our main site, we only have to pay our card processing fees, which admittedly are very high at 7%. However, that's less than Amazon's fees. Also, if you spend $50 you get free FedEx 2 Day shipping, which we honestly ship faster than Amazon does. Then we have to pay the shipping fees, but that is easier to average out over a $50 order. When you order a $15 item from us on Amazon, that's $5 off the top right away for pick, pack, and ship. Then they take their fees off the total. That's $2.25 on a $15 item. This means that for a $15 item on Amazon, we only see $7.75 of it. If you order multiple things from us Amazon at the same time, it is even worse, because the pick, pack, and ship fees are per item, not per order. If you order a $50 order from our main site, we have to pay $3.5 in card processing fees, then around $8 in shipping. So that is $11.5 that we have to pay on the $50 order. You can see we keep a lot more of the money if you make orders on our main site.
So moral of the story is that Amazon takes a lot of the total in fees for themself. It's almost always better for us if you buy from our main site, even if you get free shipping for being over $50. Plus, we ship lighting fast, and our FedEx account has a contract that mandates quick shipping times. So things are very fast. It's not a big deal if you want to buy from our Amazon, though.
Ohh, I forgot another thing. Amazon charges storage space per month to have our stuff on the shelves there. It's based on cubic inches our stuff takes up in their warehouse. That's another way they make their fees. Plus, any advertising fees we have to pay Amazon to even show our products to people. They are not one of the most valuable companies in the world for nothing. They make their fees.
