LOL, in a very basic sense, yes. Soap will form emulsions with oils in a similar fashion. However, Accelon doesn't contain soap, just for everyone reading. It's the polysorbate 20 that is the primary surfectant/emulsifier in the SMEDS formulation. Soap contains a non-polar hydrocarbon tail and a polar head. This non-polar tail interacts with the oils, while the polar head interacts with the water. This is what makes is able to create an oil emulsion in water. The polysorbate 20 acts in a similar fashion, forming mixed micelles of fish oil that can better dissolve in water. Think of a micelle like a single layer liposome.
