This is gonna be an unpopular post, but it’s regarding Sleep Support causing next day depression, lethargy etc. I found the culprit! (At least for me)!

I’ve seen some posts on here and some reviews on the Sleep Support claiming that it causes a host of negative side effects that overpower the positives that Sleep Support was designed to bring. The bacopa tends to be constantly blamed for causing these issues, but I think it’s not the culprit here.
Here’s the list of side effects that sleep support causes whether I take only one or two capsules:
Nightmares!
Excessive sweating
Melancholic, depressive feelings the next morning
General uneasiness, anxiety (not every time)
Sluggishness, laziness, prone to calling off from work
I own NDs bacopa extract, and taking it alone does not cause these side effects. Uridine monophosphate doesn’t really cause issues for me as well either. I’ve taken up to 750mg at night. I’ve tried their Primavie Shilajit and it hasn’t been problematic for me at all either. Now, I’ve never tried oleamide on its own, so maybe I’m wrong about pointing the fingers without being so sure if I haven’t tried everything on its own first. Lemon balm extract is not my favorite nootropic. It’s not anxiolytic for me, and in fact seems to do the opposite for me (causes anxiety, brain fog, irritability). The culprit howev…

Everyone is different. Our lives would be a lot easier if everyone reacted the same to things, but that's just not the reality of how we work. Our body/brain chemistries vary wildly from each other. This is why it is so hard to create stacks that work for the majority of people. It took us years of work to formulate Sleep Support, but that doesn't mean it is perfect for everyone. That's frankly impossible to do when trying novel things, like creating a holistic stack that improves sleep quality. We didn't just want a stack that made you drowsy like all the other stuff out there. We wanted one that actually improved sleep architecture. The issue with novel things is that you are going to be hitting systems that are not commonly targeted, or with things not often combined together. Plus, you have to formulate it in such a way that the majority of people will get a specific effect. However, this means it can't be perfect for everyone taking it. It's made to be effective for an average person. This is also why we sell all the ingredients in it as standalones. It gives people the ability to try each on their own, and see which ones work/don't work. Finding what works best for you is a process, and figuring out which things you react poorly to is a part of that. There's really no way around it, even if you get prescribed things by a doctor. It's always a trial and error to figure out which combo of things will work best for you. It can certainly be frustrating, but that's just part of the process.
Since you say you react strangely to lemon balm as well, I would bet your side effects are coming from too much acetylcholine. Both lemon balm and magnolia bark have mild ACh sterase inhibition properties, and some people are very sensitive to increases in ACh. You might also react strangely to GABAergic things. Have you ever taken L-theanine before?
