My order said it was delivered but I never got it. This ALWAYS happens if I do not pay to have it shipped by USPS. Any options?

My package says it was delivered by FedEx on Thursday, however I never got it and I spent $70 on it!!!! I opened a case with FedEx, and sent an email to nootropics depot customer service, since they don't have a phone number, but is there anything else I can do? Am I just shit out of luck? I will never use free shipping ever again, because this ALWAYS happens. I am going to have all my orders from anywhere, not just here, be delivered by USPS or I won't get it lol
FedEx and UPS never look around to my mailbox and usually put on someone else's porch. Idk what to do please help lol

Would there be any way to add an option on the site to toggle this flag for orders that qualify for free shipping (despite the caveats about USPS)? I wouldn't use it because I'm fine with Fedex but it could make the lives of support staff and customers a tad easier if doable. Or can it not be automated like that?
Edit: I'm thinking something like "click to use USPS as free shipping option instead of Fedex (read this first)"

Unfortunately not. There can only be one shipping option at a time. I wish we could duplicate it, but it won't let us. I can submit a feature request, but that usually takes a long time.
