ND Caffeine + Theanine Not As Potent?

Does anyone else feel like ND’s 200mg caffeine/100mg theanine capsules aren’t as potent as other brands? I’ve been taking caffeine pills daily for years along with ephedrine (EC stack) and started using ND’s capsules recently. I normally feel energized and not hungry at all throughout the day until I break my fast at night. I’ve done intermittent fasting for years (Either OMAD or 20:4) and normally I’m not hungry until 6 or 7PM.
On this brand I feel slightly drowsy and my hunger is also somewhat noticeable but still manageable throughout the day. I’ll admit that I’ve also started using Primatene instead of Bronkaid recently due to a lack of availability, but I’ve done this in the past before without issue. Any thoughts? Is it because these are capsules instead of my usual tablets?

We assay every single lot of the finished capsules via HPLC in the lab for caffeine and L-theanine content. So they absolutely have 200mg caffeine and 100mg theanine. I would be more willing to bet the other brands have more than stated on the label. Both caffeine and theanine assay are an easy test for us. We can buy those other brands and get hard numbers. It sounds like you were using Vivarin caffeine and NOW L-theanine? I could always buy some and assay them to see what they come out as. I can assure you ours are spot on, though. We test every single batch of finished capsules before okaying for sale, on top of assaying the raw material before we encapsulate.
