Please forgive me, but I must ask have you have ever talked about your depression here in a way that doesn't promote the Nootropics memes? Sharing studies can be a futile effort, based on a deceptively high number of studies failing reproducibility tests and often financed by researchers and industrialists with hidden agendas.
It would be a brave step to recommend a book like Johann Hari's Lost Connections, if it's about helping others and tackling the root causes of depression or other issues, even if it weakens the Nootropics as effective treatment memes. I know I would have a hard time with that conflict of interest.

Promote nootropics memes? What are you even on about? I've had long candid discussions regarding my depression countless times over the years, and I have not once promoted anything in those discussions. Not a single time I have I even suggested nootropics for people suffering depression. I didn't solve my depression with nootropics, and I would never suggest anyone else try. I've spoken about MDMA in relation to my depression, but in a very personal way, not in a suggestive or prescriptive way. My journey with depression is unique, just as it is with everyone that has to go through it. I listen to people, and give them hope for the possibilities of what could be. I tell them the things I would have wanted to hear when I was in the depths of my experience, and hope that the knowledge that the future can always be better will help them to come out of it as well.
You seem to have built up a caricature of who I am in your head without any evidence. All my previous comments are available for anyone to read if they so desire. All you will find is me relaying my personal journey with depression, and trying to give people hope for a better possible future. I am not the person you have built up in your head.
