Info about less-discussed mushroom extracts

Original post in this thread

Hi guys,

I'm trying to get more info about three mushrooms that usually are not discussed a lot: poria, shiitake and maitake.

Do you have any experience with them? Which benefits did you notice?

Do they have immune-modulating effects, or do they only increase the immune response?

Thanks a lot!

that's awesome! I didn't see it.

Are you using/did you use any mushroom in your stack? Shiitake seems interesting because I've seen that it has effects on moods and might work also as an anti-aromatase. I'm wondering which are its effects on the immune system though.

I'll check your link, thanks man

I have used them all at one point or another. I always try everything we sell. I am taking our Immune Defense every day, which has reishi and turkey tail in it. I am also trying out poria with polygala for cognitive effects. Cordyceps is always a favorite of mine for energy/endurance. Then of course lion's mane is great. I have used shiitake a few times to get a feel for it, but I need more time with it. We have a few customers that absolutely rave about it for its mood-boosting properties.
