KSM-66 and downregulation of serotonin receptors

Does anyone have any studies showing this is true? I've heard people say that with prolonged use it can cause side-effects similar to those of SSRIs. Is it something that we should be wary of? I don't want to do any permanent damage.
I'm also curious about your opinions on whether KSM should be cycled or not. I'm thinking of doing 1 month on/1 week off. This good?

Interesting, thanks a lot. Do you personally take Ashwagandha? If so, at what dose and how often? Just curious

I take it on occasion when I am feeling more stressed. Generally that has been KSM-66, but I have been using Shoden to testing out recently. Then I am also testing some other extracts we are working on in-house. Those are going to be more for mood than stress, though. Ashwagandha is a very interesting and varied plant. You can make one extract of it feel totally different than another extract.
