It's like the increase in testosterone. It should level our over time on its own, but might be a slight issue in the short run. I have not personally noticed it, but I could see the mechanisms being there for some people

Gotu kola helps with wound healing. So it can help repair acne scars. Not sure it has a direct effect on acne itself, though.

The acne will stabilize over time. The changing in hormone levels are the reason for it popping up. So as your body gets used to the new normal, it should clear up.
