Thanks for the clarification!
I vaguely remember the Reishi 415 was a 1:1 + 16:1 or something.

Yep, it was a mix. I actually looked into it further today. The issue I have is the 16:1 we got from Nammex used to say a higher %. Then they changed it to 2%. Now the 415 says 4%, which seems very very high. The lab they use to test it gives me a lot of concerns. We reached out to them directly, and they would not share any lab data or validations. The lady that runs it used to be a lab tech at ABC Testing in Tustin, which has been cited by the FDA for not properly running their analytical methods. This other lab she started also is doing the erinacine testing for Oriveda, but it is total bullshit. The methods are not saying what they claim they are. It's bad chemistry from a bad lab. I have zero confidence in this lab... like at all. I would not trust a single number coming from them.

So what we are doing it building and validating our own quantitative methods for triterpenoids in reishi. We took off our claim until we can be sure the science is validated and accurate. That's why you see us saying present right now, as we can confirm they are there on HP-TLC. However, we are in the process of doing more method development and validation work to quantify them. Since I always want people to trust when I give a number, we felt it was prudent to just say "present" till we complete this validation work. I am hoping that will not be long, though. We have two UPLC-MS machines now, and our lab is getting very efficient with method development. So we should have it solved soon. Nothing changed about our extracts. It's just I want to be sure the numbers are scientifically valid.

For the LucidiSPORE we actually outsource that testing, as testing triterpenoids in oil is difficult. We had to work with a few labs to get it right, and only one lab in the world is doing it properly for oil at the moment. We might be able to apply our methods that are in development right now for the oil, but we are developing and validating them on powder first. Once that is complete, we can see if it will work on oil. Oils are very difficult to work with in relation to certain methods. Usually there is more complex sample prep involved. Sometimes you get lucky and can slightly modify your powder methods for oil, but other times it requires more complex development.

A petition to keep powders

It's not about pandering to anyone. If nobody buys something, what are we even doing? I don't want to sell things people don't want. If people are buying less than 10 units of something a month, that's telling me that no

3rd party lab testing for ND?

I have said proper lab testing and quality control is important for the industry. Whether or not that proper lab testing is being done by a 3rd party lab or an in-house lab depends on the specific lab, if they are ISO ce

We have done a ton of work on reishi over the years, probably more than anyone else in the world. I talk about some of it, but most of it I keep private. We've done a lot of science in the background, and are actually wo

Is ND done launching new products?

Replying to midwestworld13 · I emailed them about restocking red reishi products and was met with a very unsatisfying reply... I'm low on other sups but kinda trying to find somewhere else if I'm being honest.

Reishi products are all being restocked. We were just doing some optimization on them. Because we developed methods to test for ganoderic acids, our first step was releasing our Ultra Concentrated 9% extract. However, st
