One upregulates testosterone the other is an estrogen mimetic. Dampen each other or wreak havoc?
Also interested in Milk Thistle w/ Shilajit or Ashwagandha with the same concept in mind.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks

So silymarin is a selective estrogen receptor beta (ERbeta) agonist. This is actually how silymarin helps with bone health. Silymarin does NOT have ERalpha effects, which are the receptors primarily responsible for estrogen's sexual/reproductive effects. So because silymarin is selective to the beta subtype, it doesn't have the effects that a non-selective estrogen agonist would. In fact, silymarin will help with things like bone health and immune response.
Tongkat also is very specific in how it affects testosterone.

I don't see any reason they would interact poorly with each other. In fact, silymarin might positively affect bone strength, which could complement the muscle strength improvement of tongkat.
