My Experience with Lion’s Mane

I bought 90 capsules of Lions Mane about two months ago. I've been taking two capsules (so one gram) a day. I really haven't noticed anything. Well, last week, I decided to double my dose and take two grams a day.
I actually notice the effects. I am more energetic and awake after two grams of lion’s mane. Yesterday I started taking two grams with piperine, and it feels even stronger than before. Maybe it's placebo.
So, if lion’s mane isn't working for you, try and go up on your dose. I wish I had done this sooner; it's actually mentally stimulating and anxiolytic.
On another note, has anyone else tried lion’s mane with piperine? I understand how piperine potentiates other noots, but I'm not sure if this would have any real effect on lions mane or if it's in my head.

Implicit just meaning after researching the company and what others have said online over time, I've no reason to distrust. Those would be more accurate words.

Rule of thumb, the top 5 selling products on Amazon for supplements are almost always shit. It's impossible to get to those spots without breaking their rules like paying for reviews and other shady stuff like that. So if they are willing to break those rules, why would they be willing to spend the money on properly lab testing their products? When you start researching these companies, you quickly learn why you shouldn't trust them. Most are just small operations that contract everything out to contract manufactures, fulfillers, etc. They don't have their own facilities making these products. They contract out to other companies that bid the lowest. The best way to compete on Amazon is to have low overhead. If you can survive on thinner margins than your competition, you can buy more 5 star reviews and buy traffic to get your sales velocity up. This gets you to the top spots on Amazon. We can't do that, because we are spending all our money on our lab, our large well-paid team, and our advanced facility. If we only had like 10 people working of us, all in marketing and customer support like many of these other brands do, we would have more margin to spend on the stuff that buys you the top spots on Amazon.
Amazon is literally the worst place to determine if a company is legit. Over 90% of the reviews are fake or paid for. Sellers constantly post bad reviews on their competitor's products to screw with their rankings. They even do bogus safety reports to get the product pulled for a while. We had our NMN pulled for weeks because someone reported that it contained compounds from the coca leaf... We recently had 3 of our listings pulled because, and I quote, Amazon doesn't allow the words "health" or "healthy" in listings! So us saying "promotes healthy levels of sleep" somehow violated Amazon's new rule that the word healthy can't be used for products in the health supplement category. Then you get Chinese companies hijacking your listings to sell their products. We recently had that happen. Someone stole our ASIN and was using it on a Chinese product, which got our listing pulled. I can't express to you just how shitty of a platform Amazon is. Being the highest selling product with the most reviews on Amazon is almost a negative indication in my mind these days. It's not just supplements, either. It is getting to the point where I can't trust anything on there. If I need a cable, electronic device, or other product, I almost always try to use other sites. At the very least I research it outside Amazon to make my decision, then only buy directly from the manufacturer of whatever I choose on Amazon. Using Amazon's rankings and reviews are just asking to get screwed.
