Tongkat Ali Extracts | Everything You Need To Know Before You Buy

Eurycoma longifolia, more commonly known as Tongkat Ali or Longjack, is an evergreen plant native to Southeast Asia. Eurycoma longifolia forms a large root system underground which produces a plethora of potent bioactive compounds! The main class of compounds produced by Eurycoma longifolia root are the Quassinoids. Within this class, the most bioactive Quassinoid is a compound called Eurycomanone, and the bulk of Tongkat Ali benefits discussed in scientific research are attributed to the bioactivity of this compound. This is why it is important to look for Eurycoma longifolia extracts that are high in Eurycomanone! We’ll touch more on this later, but first let’s explore the history of Tongkat Ali supplementation... (click here to read more)

It also intrigues me that some product descriptions use phrases like "\[product\] benefits" in a way that leads to redundant language, and/or redundantly use the scientific or common name of a species under discussion. As just one example, the description for generic bacopa states,

Some researchers attribute Bacopa monnieri sleep benefits and Bacopa mood benefits to its adaptogenic properties.

It's like the author really wants to make it clear that it is the product or species that is being referred to when discussing benefits (or preparations or whatnot, in other cases).

(edited to remove the question about whether cultural differences in the use of language are behind this, since that's kind of beside the point I was trying to make)

That's likely for SEO. Perhaps there are people searching for "bacopa mood benefits" and we want to rank for that search term. So having that exact phrasing helps to rank better organically for that phrase. If you notice strange syntax like that on product descriptions, SEO is likely the reason. A totally different person on my team handles product descriptions, and he uses search tools to figure out the best way to fit in phrasing for search engine ranking. It might seem small, but properly phrasing for SEO makes a big difference in organic traffic. This is especially true after Google screwed everyone by modifying their algorithms. Remember when Examine made a post on /r/Nootropics about losing 90% of their traffic overnight? Well they were not the only one hit. We all got hit really hard with that update. We didn't get hit as hard because we had less/no medical claims. Still, we lost almost half our organic traffic overnight. So we are always having to adjust descriptions and phrasing to ensure we actually show up in search results for things.

Anyone here who solved the fatigue with Tongkat Ali?

Replying to spread_nutella_on_me · Jup, taken few hours before bed results in difficulty falling asleep for me. And when sleep does happen by 5 A.M, it's in a very half-sleep, half-awake state.

Yep, he thinks it is cortisol as well. The tongkat ali is lowering your cortisol too much. That's why you get lethargy during the day. Combining it with something like our Panax ginseng leaf extract would be a good test
