Is Phenylpiracetam by NootropicsDepot a racemic mixture or only the R-isomer?

Original post in this thread

I checked the product label on ND's website and I am unsure what to make of it. The label states: Phenylpiracetam (R,S)-2-(2-oxo-4-phenylpyrollidin-1-yl)acetamide. Does the bolded R mean it's the R-isomer variant of Phenylpiracetam?

Thanks in retrospect.

Those figures are from a rat study and again there are no studies to support use of phenylpiracetam in healthy adults. What you and your colleagues experienced in your facility means zilch. Honestly, your replies just look like you're trying to convince people to buy your stuff, they seem scientific, but for the most part are just pseudo-scientific in essence.

I never said your customers were stupid. I said that NootropicsDepot plays on /r/nootropics and people's general stupidity because nobody has the time nor energy to plow through article after article finding out what works and not. People have a life to run, yet you choose to sell them things which simply does not work.

You willingly choose to sell people stuff that is bunk - and that can be clearly seen from the way you reply to people and generally in your responses these last couple of years, you were more legit before. Money has a thing to make even the most honest people lose their human touch, and that is fine, I don't blame you, just don't pretend like the stuff you are selling somehow "works".

However, it has to be said that some of the products you sell (like 5% or so) do actually work, but most of it is just a waste of money.

YOU CITED THE RAT STUDY!!!! I was using the study you posted to show you that your assertions made zero sense. LOL. If the rat study is useless, then why did you cite it as evidence of your assertions?!? You are making wild speculations on things without even reading the damn studies you are posting!

Ohh really?

MYASD is exploiting ignorant and stupid individuals.

So anyone that buys phenylpiracetam from us is ignorant and stupid, but you are NOT insulting them? Sure buddy. You keep being an ass to people, then convincing yourself you are not. It's no skin off my back.

I've sold phenylpiracetam since 2013... RACEMIC phenylpiracetam since 2013. I was more legit back then? I have argued with arrogant people on Reddit even before I started Ceretropic. Nothing is different now, other than the scientific level to which we go to prove things. I had no way of measuring the optical rotation of phenylpiracetam back then. I didn't have the lab I have today. However, now I am less legit? These days I just have a team of scientists behind me to ensure my online rants can be empirically proven. I am not different today than I was then. Go back through my posts on /r/Nootropics for years. Arguing with people on Reddit has been a thing with me for as long as I can remember. I will be here arguing with ignorant fools for years to come. Lost my human touch? LOL. This is the human touch, my man. Sometimes you need to be smacked in the face to realize how far off base you are. Sometimes I am the one doing the smacking. If that's not human, I don't know what is.

The hilarious part about all this is we don't even make any effect claims on phenylpiracetam! We literally don't talk about efficacy or pharmacology at all. We sell pure phenylpiracetam. That's it. We use proper analytical chemistry to prove that, and that's it. We do not market it for memory, or mood, or stimulation. We don't discuss how effective it is at certain parameters. We literally just put up phenylpiracetam to give people the ability to research a properly tested pure product. Look at our product pages. It's just chemistry. I didn't even discuss efficacy at all until you basically goaded me into it. Now I am trying to sell people it on here? LOL!!! Listen to yourself. I don't care if anyone buys our phenylpiracetam. Don't buy it! Please, don't buy it. I would prefer it if you didn't. It's useless. Just a waste of money. Nothing we sell works, actually. It's all useless. That's why we have hundreds of thousands of regular customers buying from us. It's because they AREN'T getting any effects from our products. That's what they like about them. They get no effects.

So you are very welcome! It was nice of me to graciously answer your question, then take the time of out my day to also show you that your pharmacological assumptions were incorrect. I really appreciate your insults to myself and the rest of our customers as well. It makes me feel good that people like you are out there, telling yourself your are right no matter the evidence. You truly are making the world a better place. Now if you will excuse me, I have a big pile of money to roll around in.
