Cycling NMN

Original post in this thread

First off, I’ll say that ND’s NMN is by far the best I’ve tried. But, like most NMN products I notice a decline in efficacy after maybe 1 week.

I’m considering cycling 1 week on, 3 days off, or something similar.

I’m curious if you’ve all noticed something similar.

My dosage is 250mg in the morning, but I can take another dose late afternoon without noticing it too much. I find it works in the background and isn’t too stimulating.

Your product, correct. It’s the first and only NMN I’ve tried so far. Only thing I’ve used it with is my usual morning supplements - a multi, CoQ10/PQQ, fish oil and half-caff coffee with cocoa and cistanche. A few more basic supps and adapotogens are thrown in later in the day. I added in resveratrol after about a week but noticed no difference.

For what it’s worth, I’ve been in the supplement/noots game for years, tried allll sorts of things, and there are very few things that I notice have overt effects. Most of my stack is aimed at just keeping the machine well-oiled, you know?

Definitely. The reason I noticed the NMN so strongly was because I was getting over-stimulated. I had to dial back my caffeine intake to level that out. I even cut it out completely some days, which is NOT like me. I always have caffeine, and have daily for probably 15 years. Going multiple days without any caffeine, and being totally fine and stimulated, is unheard of for me.
