I appreciate the response. I am aware people respond to phenibut differently. When I felt the uncomfortable side effects that I was not used to I initially figured my body was just responding abnormally. It had not even crossed my mind to blame the batch until my brother confirmed the same side effects without any prompting. I appreciate your honesty and it sounds like you do quite a bit of quality control. My tub is still quite full, but I ordered from liftmode shortly before posting this in an attempt to get to the bottom of this.
In the past I have found Nootropics Phenibut to outperform LiftMode's in every way. I will promptly correct and delete this post if my findings lean your way. like I said, I have always found Nootropics phenibut superior, but I have not responded well to this batch.

Anecdotes are often unreliable. Pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics are complex as well. Sometimes it is something else you are taking reacting with it. Sometimes it is the pH of your stomach at the time. Sometimes it is something in your diet. Phenibut HCL is one of the more variable compounds in effects, and people truly underestimate how much pH of the stomach can affect things. Phenibut HCL is very acidic. This is why some people take antacids with it.
My team is already going to be doing an OOS investigation on it in the lab. We already test for residual solvents and heavy metals, plus have HPLC assay and IR data. So if there is something else in there, it is not carbon-based, doesn't have a chromophore, isn't a heavy metal or residual solvent, and isn't in high enough amounts to throw off an assay. What it could possibly be gets very small when you take that into consideration. If it was carbon-based the FTIR would see it. If it was a volatile solvent the GC-FID would see it. If it was a heavy metal the ICP-MS would see it. If it was in any significant percentage, the HPLC assay would see it. I'll take a look at the lab data once we get it, though.
