Does one know.... Is the implication here only that if one takes 2.5 less of the newer one to get the same effect as this one, or is there some other difference beyond active constituents per volume/price?

When you concentrate any extract, you are inevitably going to alter the ratios of everything a bit. So while taking more of this extract will feel similar to taking a smaller amount of the more potent extract, it's not exactly the same. I could have gone even higher on the more potent extract that we are releasing, but I found that you start to lose some of the other compounds that round it out. I did a LOT of testing personally on tongkat extracts to arrive at the two we decided on. I like both, but they are slightly different in feeling. Sometimes I combine both extracts to get the best of both worlds.
