I've wanted to try this since you launched it, and the only thing holding me back has been reports of 5ar inhibition in Reishi products in general.
Do you have any thoughts on that? Perhaps this is one of those things that are completely overblown.

It's overblown, IMO. I have taken 4 capsules of our Immune Defense and a whole milliliter of our LucidiSPORE daily for weeks without any change in my libido or other things like muscle mass. At least for me, it's not an issue. Even if there are 5-AR effects, they are reversible and localized. Sometimes we want lower DHT in some areas, but higher in others. Finasteride has an IC50 of 0.73mM for 5-AR inhibition. The most potent 5-AR inhibitor found in reishi fruiting bodies is Ganoderic acid DM, with an IC50 of 10.6mM. So it is 14.5 times less potent than finasteride. Also, I don't think Ganoderic acid DM is found in the spores.
