Lion's mane 8:1 extract needs a fat source to maximize NGF?

I got ND's 8:1 extract primarily for the nerve growth factor. NGF is extracted by alcohol yes? And from what I gather alcohol-solubles are best taken with food/fat-source right? So how much NGF am I really missing out on if I take the 8:1 extract on an empty stomach? If I were to flip that around, how much of the water-solubles immune system benefits do I miss out on if I take the 8:1 extract with a fat source?
Unless, of course, it's one of those "everything's already extracted, as long as they get inside your body they'll do their thing" kind of situation.
Seems like for dual extracts maximizing the absorption of one extra means interfering with the absorption of the other.

Lion's mane is best on an empty stomach. No need to take anything with it. The extraction process is totally different than pharmacokinetics in the body. I just confirmed with my PhD lion's mane scientist as well. He says empty stomach is best.
He did jokingly say that mixing them with wine is good! LOL. So you have that as an option.
