Questions about polygala

Original post in this thread

psychopythonmetrist · 10 points

I've been using polygala for a few weeks now, and it's quickly become my favorite nootropic. I've been trying to educate myself on all the effects polygala may have, and there are a few things I want to know.

* Is the ND extract based on BT-11?
* Polygala extract has several different methods of action, so are there any common supplements I definitely should not combine with it?
* Should I be cycling it?
* I currently take agmatine about 30 minutes before. I would like to try 7, 8 DHF when it's available. Is one better than the other?
* I'm also curious if anyone has combined lion's mane with polygala.

Is the ND extract based on BT-11?

Sort of. The issue with BT-11 is that they won't share their methods, nor are they interested in selling here in the US. So they are not super helpful with questions. Our polygala was one we just kind of winged, and it came out working well. We are trying to develop methods and standardizations for it, though. Tenuifolin is the main one we are going to be using as a marker compound, but there are a TON in there.

Polygala extract has several different methods of action, so are there any common supplements I definitely should not combine with it?

I have not personally found anything that I would say should for sure not be combined with it.

Should I be cycling it?

I suggest cycling everything. A trip back to baseline is always good every few months.

I currently take agmatine about 30 minutes before. I would like to try 7, 8 DHF when it's available. Is one better than the other?

They are totally different. Can't really say one is better than the other.

I'm also curious if anyone has combined lion's mane with polygala.

Yes, I have. Tons of other people have as well. It's a good combo.
