Yeah I'm bald. I remember in the early 90s seeing a documentary about baldness and a doctor saying a cure is about 5 years away, 25+ years later and we still don't understand the balding process.

LOL, that's true! Science can take a lot more time than most people realize. It can be frustrating, for sure. The deeper I get into extremely complex things like analytical chemistry, the more complex I realize everything actually is. We just don't know what we don't know until we try to learn.
