Lion's mane mushroom: is dual-extraction worth it?

Original post in this thread

I want to try lion's mane mushroom but I'm not sure if dual-extraction (8:1) is worth the extra money. How does dual extract compare to regular?

Could you please elaborate more on this issue? As far as I can see on reddit, it seems that ND is a pretty trustworthy company with good products. Is there something I missed ?

It's propaganda started by our competitors. I've spoken about it before.

Go back all the way to when I started Ceretropic in 2013. Countless people have claimed bias over the years, and started conspiracies about me controlling the subreddit with an iron fist! LOL. They claim I own the subreddit or that the other moderators work for me. They claim I silence competition and delete posts, despite zero evidence for any of it. Who is making the claims changes over time. I am somehow part of this massive conspiracy that spans almost a decade, yet there's never any evidence. After a while the people claiming it eventually disappear or go out of business. Then different people pop up and the cycle continues. It's really hard for people to realize that I am just an honest person trying to make this industry a better place. It's especially hard for our competitors that want to cut corners and obfuscate their own shortcomings by pointing their fingers at me. No, it can't be them that's wrong... It must be the puppet master MYASD controlling things like the nootropic Illuminati. The reality of the situation is that most vendors are lying sacks of shit that don't properly test anything, and they do not like being called out for that. However, I am going to keep calling out shady shit that I see. Someone needs to do it. If people want to call me the nootropic Illuminati for it, that's fine with me. Let's circle back in another few years so you can see me arguing with yet another shady brand peddling yet another conspiracy about me. I'm sure I will have ascended to the ethereal realm by that point, and will undoubtedly be controlling the entire supplement industry with my puppet strings!

Replying to eclecticlove1 · So where do you get the powder for the 8:1 dual phase extract?

We have our own suppliers, just like we do for all our ND branded products. They make it to our specifications. Then we test them in our lab for ID, content, beta-glucans, heavy metals, and now residual solvent residues.

Why the lion's mane you're buying is probably bunk.

First off, our Lion's Mane is not a traditional water extract. The water is used to break down the chitin in the cell walls, but the entire mushroom material is kept in. So you don't lose anything that you would with a f

We are absolutely NOT done with new products. We are in the thick of development for a bunch of them. Some of them are just taking longer than expected to get perfect, so we have had a lull in releases. That's just becau
