I ordered the product in the title line on Amazon from Nootropics Depot (you were the seller), and I noticed that you sell a different Rhodiola extract that does not have Rosavins.
I was wondering if the Rhodiola Rosea Extract Powder that is 3% Salidroside, does not have the Rosavins removed?

Silly question, what is the difference between Rhodiola crenulata and Rhodiola roseas?
I think your the only company that sells the "crenulata" version on Amazon, was curious about the difference.

Both Rhodiola crenualta and Rhodiola rosea have salidroside. That's the main active in both. However, Rhodiola rosea also has rosavin, while crenulata does not. The rosavin is generally more calming, while the salidroside is more stimulating. So that is the main difference between the two species. However, Rhodiola crenulata has its own novel compounds in it that rosea doesn't, too. We just don't understand them as much as salidroside and rosavins.
Rhodiola rosea has more effects on skeletal muscle and exercise performance.
Rhodiola crenulata seems to be a better antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and immune modulator.
The results demonstrate that R. crenulata increased the survival rates of adult flies and expression of antimicrobial peptide genes after pathogen or toxic compound ingestion. Moreover, decreased levels of reactive oxygen species and epithelial cell death were associated with results in improved intestinal morphology. The pharmacological action of R. crenulata from Tibet was greater than that from Sichuan. These results indicate that the R. crenulata extracts from Tibet had better pharmacological effect on D. melanogaster gut immunity after ingestion of pathogens and toxic compounds. These results may provide the pharmacological basis for prevention of inflammatory diseases of the intestine.
This is a really good overview that discusses both of them.
Rhodiola plants: Chemistry and biological activity
So while they are both in the same genus, and both contain salidroside, they are definitely different species with their own unique compounds in them. Rhodiola rosea would be better for exercise performance, while Rhodiola crenulata would be a better antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and positively modulate gut health.
