Withdrawals?

I was recently using a '' pre workout '' which contains the usuals. Caffeine ' Kigelia Africana' Octopamine etc.
I stopped it around 5 days ago and i can barely function! Sleeping an insane amount of hours 10+. Struggling to gain any motivation. Feel slight depression. Just horrid overall.
I am thinking the 'pre' and its ingredients aren't what the label fully states? I have tried loads of pre's over the years and this one made you feel like you we're on Adderal. I just thought they had got ingredients to work synergistically with each other. Everyone who has done reviews on it says the same. That they don't believe the label.
Now that i have completely stopped it my brain is craving it like crazyyyyyy but my body just wants to not move and recover.
Do you think company's would actually taint a product? It is VERY pricey aswell for what the label states also.
Definitely withdrawals from whatever was in their.
How long does it usually take for the brain to balance back out? I had this same experience a few year ago with a pre workout called Craze. Anyone mind this? That got caught for being spiked and i had this same withdrawal feeling. I think we all enjoy a rush of dopamin…

Oh I know. I was there in the early 2000 era and bought my first Twinlab (?) micronized creatine off the internet using my mom's credit card lol
The supplement industry pioneered the fly by night shell companies springing up and disappearing weeks later. I remember when COAs and third party testing were a hot topic but like anything of similar nature, it's a game of cat and mouse.
These guys will release products with spiked batches, generate hype, and then clean up their game or mess around with batch numbers to obsfucate. They're greasy as hell and cGMP and other certifications and standards can only go so far. There's a million ways to scam in this industry.
I hate to admit it, but now that I'm out of it completely (worked with a couple companies), I can say the industry needs regulation and oversight. It's costly and cumbersome, but this used to be very niche and it is not the case anymore.
Its not uncommon to see girls taking videos dry slamming preworkout powder in the kitchen and posting it in their social media. Back in my day that used to be what the hardcore guys did. I also saw kids in the parking lot trying to catch their breathe cause they took like 4 servings of preworkout and got the spins. Like, they actually just got off a bus from school with their backpacks.

Yeah, I agree on the preworkout stuff. It's crazy how many people are taking untested and dangerous supplements without a clue in the world of the risks. Kids seeing professional gamers promote certain products, then taking 2-3 scoops of it their first time and freaking out. Even if they are not spiked with a designer stim, that's too much caffeine and other stims for kids.
