Is lion's mane a safe noot? I'm worried about the talk of lead contamination. Is there an amount that's safe?

There are no current erinacine or hericenone reference standards. So we cannot currently test for the content of them. We are working on it, but it is a slow process. However, ALL the human clinical research on lion's mane has used fruiting bodies. There are zero human studies for lion's mane mycelium in humans. We can speculate on the in vitro and animal studies, but there is no clinical science backing it up yet.
