Maybe the days before delivery should be included on the checkout page?

My recent order was meant to be urgent so I chose the USPS option which costs the most and is about four times the cost of the cheapest option which typically arrives in 3weeks.
It's been seven days today and it still hasn't even reached my country, I was expecting it to arrive in three days. Can more details about shipment be included in the check out page, like approximate day of arrival, insurance or not etc. What do you guys think?

We can't give shipping day estimates for international customers, due to how variable customs is. We only show estimated delivery days for customers in Arizona at the moment. We might consider it for other states at some point, but we have no control over the mail system. However, customers take it out on us if USPS, FedEx, or DHL have delays, even though it is completely outside of our control once it leaves our facility. So we have been very cautious about adding delivery times in for anyone outside of AZ. We certainly won't do it for international customers, because then you have the variability of not only the mail system and world weather patterns, but also customs.
Your order likely reached your country in a day or two. It's probably just sitting in customs waiting to be cleared. That's the biggest delay for international customers, unfortunately. Some times it clears almost instantly. Other times it takes a while. Most countries give very little data on where your package is in the customs clearance process. My team can see if they can get any more detailed info on it if you give them your order number, though.
In the future, DHL Express is usually the fastest international shipping option. The only caveat to that is that it goes through a private customs clearance, rather than public like USPS. So some countries are slower with private clearance, and they add import fees to the mix. I can talk to the team about possibly putting a message next to the DHL option saying something like: "Generally the quickest for international" or something like that.
